Surf ‘n’ Turf

Surf ’n’ Turf Kitchen started when Aaron Robinson saw a need for something different and came up with the idea of making rustic and homely Scotch eggs and pies.

Starting in a small flat in Teignmouth, with a few simple ingredients bought from the local shop, Aaron’s first Scotch egg was born. These went straight to the local pub and thanks to their support, he was able to keep up momentum and continue making his products.

Surf ’n’ Turf can now be found in their fully equipped Scotch egg factory in Kingsteignton, Devon known as the HQ, where their fully qualified egg peelers, moulders and crumbers harness their powers. The team is always coming up with ideas and flavours, bringing inspiration from its own experiences.

“Still standing and going into our 10th year of mastering the art of our trade, Surf ‘n’ Turf kitchen has never been more determined to provide the best scotch eggs throughout the South West. Over the years we have had the opportunity of working with the best butchers, farm shops and deli’s resulting in the champion title being ours for a second year running.” Aaron explains.

Surf ‘n’ Turf were awarded Taste of the West’s Champion Snacks & light Eats Award in 2022 for their Red Onion Chutney Scotch Egg.

“This is a massive motivation for myself and our team of highly driven chefs that make up Surf‘n’Turf kitchen. We’ve made our mark on Devon farmers markets and district shows, building up a loyal following wherever we go. This has led us to setting up our online sales page www.Surfnturfkitchen.co.uk and more recently developing our award-winning pastry side of the business at cockingtoncourt, Torquay. My team and I will be digging gold awards for years to come!”
