During March, Food WorksSW in Weston-super-Mare will be opening its doors for those in food and drink production, hospitality and catering to see the facilities and access free 1-1 support.
The Food WorksSW is the South West’s only dedicated food and drink development centre available for businesses to use themselves to turn an idea into a sellable product.
The Centre will be open on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th March for free tours, seminars and 1-1 clinics with the Technical Team and a variety of organisations linked to food and drink.
Senior Technical Manager, Rachel Goff says “We’re opening the doors to anyone interested or involved in food and drink in some way. We’re inviting individuals and food and drink businesses to book onto seminars and tours and to meet some of our partners who will be on hand to provide advice and guidance on a range of issues. Our own team will be offering one-to-one advice sessions for those wishing to discuss specific ideas or issues relating to food and drink“.
Food WorksSW is unique in providing a range of development kitchens for businesses and individuals themselves to develop, trial and manufacture products whether in food and drink production, hospitality or catering.
Product Development Manager, Zoe Plant added “Whether it’s about how to get an idea to a stage that’s ready to sell, or discussing the finer details of a product. If you’re unsure about labelling and allergens, for example, we can help.”
