Expanding on its recently opened year-round heated lido swimming pool, Una St Ives at Carbis Bay has launched the Lido Bar & Grill, an outdoor BBQ kitchen and poolside dining space.
The latest offering complements the award-winning Una Kitchen, serving a street-food-inspired menu cooked over an open flame, with dishes such as whole rotisserie chicken, burritos, tacos and healthy salad bowls. When the sun shines, the sheltered terrace is the perfect spot for enjoying Cornish cocktails, smoothies, iced drinks and loaded hot chocolates after a dip in the lido. Set at the heart of the resort, the al fresco eatery boasts cabanas and a retractable roof for less clement days.
The Lido Bar & Grill is open to all, while the lido swimming pool is open to resort guests, those using the spa and existing Una St Ives leisure members, with selected availability for day guests. As well as leisurely lunches after an energising swim, visitors can enjoy a dip, dinner and drinks as the sun sets. The resort will also be hosting special lido socials including live music and casual dining experiences.
The Lido Bar & Grill is open for drinks from 10 am to 6 pm daily and for food from 12 pm to 4 pm (weather dependent) from April through October. Extended opening hours into the evening will apply to bank holidays and from June to September.
