Boscastle Farm Shop

Nestled in a picturesque location with stunning views, Boscastle Farm Shop is a must-visit destination for food lovers. From the moment you step into the wooden-clad building, you are greeted with a bounty of fresh local produce. The foyer is filled with colorful fruit and vegetables, providing a cool respite on a sunny day.

As you make your way through the main doors, the shop opens up to reveal a treasure trove of culinary delights. Fresh artisan bread is displayed in baskets, while the butcher’s counter boasts award-winning meats. Locally caught lobster and other specialty foods from local producers vie for your attention.

But the real treat awaits in the “ready meals” section. Home-made pies, quiches, cakes, soups, and pasties are all lovingly prepared in the Boscastle coastal kitchen. And if you don’t feel like heating up a meal at home, the adjoining café is ready to serve you. Housed in a beautiful wood and glass conservatory, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal.

Owned by Robin and Jackie, the award-winning Boscastle Farm Shop and Café is situated in a breathtaking location. Surrounded by National Trust farmland and just a stone’s throw from the coastal path, the shop is a testament to the owners’ passion for high-quality local produce and the natural beauty of the area.

The views from the shop and café are truly stunning, and there’s no better place to showcase the local produce. Robin and Jackie are proud of where they live and work, and they want to share it with visitors. For those feeling energetic or just in the mood for a leisurely stroll, there are beautiful walks where you can spot wildlife such as grey seals in the cove below the shop or peregrine falcons nesting in the cliffs.

The site of Boscastle Farm Shop is a traditional mixed farm, and great care is taken to make the best use of the land. Pedigree Devon cattle can be seen grazing in the fields. And while dogs are welcome in the garden area, they are not allowed in the café and shop for health and safety reasons.

From home-reared award-winning beef, lamb, and pigs to home-made pies and cakes, you’ll find it all at Boscastle Farm Shop and Café.

Robin and Jackie have a simple approach to food: make everything by hand using produce from their fields or sourced locally. They believe in “food from around the corner, not around the world,” so their shelves are stocked with delicious items from specialty and artisan fine-food producers as close to home as possible.

And let’s not forget the fantastic team at Boscastle Farm Shop. Without their support, none of this would be possible. Each member of the team shares Robin and Jackie’s ethos of ensuring that every visitor has a wonderful experience, whether they’re eating in the café or buying products to take home. As one team member put it, “Working here is like being part of a big family.”
