6 O’clock gin reopens iconic Bristol harbourside venue, The Glassboat, as a premier gin destination

Leading artisan spirits brand, 6 O’clock Gin, is delighted to announce the grand reopening of the iconic Bristol harbourside venue, The Glassboat. After meticulous renovations, The Glassboat is set to emerge as Bristol’s ultimate gin destination, featuring a chic gin bar, a curated retail shop, and a versatile events space.

Situated on the idyllic Welshback in Bristol, The Glassboat has been reimagined to offer guests an exquisite waterfront setting to savour an array of delightful G&Ts and innovative 6 O’clock Gin cocktails. The venue also boasts a retail store at its forefront, offering a selection of premium 6 O’clock Gin products for enthusiasts to take home and enjoy at their leisure.

In addition, The Glassboat is also poised to become a hub of entertainment and exploration. Guests can look forward to engaging events such as gin blending experiences, live music evenings, and pop-up dining events featuring collaborations with local culinary talents.

Paul Sullivan, Managing Director of 6 O’clock Gin, expressed his excitement about this significant venture, stating, “We are absolutely thrilled to have acquired The Glassboat. Our vision is to preserve its historic charm while infusing new energy into this treasured site.”

“The reopening of The Glassboat signifies a momentous occasion for us as it allows us to introduce 6 O’clock Gin to the heart of the city. We invite guests to join us, not only to savour our gins but also to learn more about the art of gin making. Most importantly, we want everyone to have a wonderful time in this unique space.”

The grand reopening marks the first phase of development for The Glassboat. In the upcoming phase, The Glassboat will unveil its fully functional kitchen, as well as a dedicated meeting space below deck which will be available for private hire, catering to various events and gatherings.

Furthermore, 6 O’clock Gin enthusiasts can look forward to the brand’s pop-up shops returning to Cabot Circus and Cribbs Causeway next week, just in time for the festive season.
