BANK Bristol announces Sabrina Ghayour Supperclub

BANK has revealed that British-Iranian chef and best-selling author, Sabrina Ghayour, will be hosting her acclaimed Sabrina’s Kitchen Supperclub at the Totterdown-based neighbourhood restaurant on Monday 5 February.

Bringing her much-celebrated Persian and Middle Eastern cookery to the pass for one night only, Sabrina has designed a 3-course sharing menu that will showcase some of her favourite dishes together with some new creations.

Fresh from the publication of her latest cookbook, Flavour late last year, Sabrina has worked alongside head chef and co-owner, Jack Briggs-Horan to curate a menu that takes strong influence from BANK’s wood fired grill, with flames, smoke and intense heat all playing their parts. Having originally made her name hosting the hugely popular Sabrina’s Kitchen Supperclub in London, Sabrina will now bring her touring Supperclub to Bristol for the first time.

The Middle Eastern wood fired feast will begin with five smaller sharing plates, including Spiced Lamb Koftas with Yoghurt, Burnt Orange & Sweet Harissa Sauce, Barberry Chicken Wings and a Smoked Aubergine Dip with Feta & Pickled Chillies. The main course will feature four larger sharing plates, with dishes like Chicken Kebabs with Saffron, Pul Biber, Garlic, Lemon & Yoghurt Marinade, served with mini wraps and a Slow Cooked Spiced Lamb Shoulder with a Tamarind Glaze in its own jus, topped with Dukkah. The evening will end with a Spiced Pear, Almond & Ginger Frangipane Tart with Cinnamon Cream.

This first instalment in BANK’s 2024 guest chef series will see two chefs coming together with a shared love for eclectic, vibrant and flavourful cookery. Further guest chef nights will be announced soon.

Tickets for the BANK x Sabrina’s Kitchen Supperclub will be available to purchase from www.bankbristol.com.

BANK in Bristol is open from 17:00 – 22:00 on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 12:00 – 22:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 12:00 – 17:00 on Sundays. Diners can book via www.bankbristol.com.
