The golden cider of Purbeck

Nestled in the heart of the Purbeck Hill’s overlooking Dorset’s majestic Corfe Castle you will find The Purbeck Cider Company, an independent craft cider maker.

Founded in 2006 by Joseph Hartle, a passionate farmer whose values in conservation and producing from the land underpin all that the company stands for – planting orchards to ensure the finest quality homegrown fruit is used in the extensive range of ciders. From field to bottle each cider is carefully crafted by a dedicated team. The company now boasts around 30acres of speciality and commercial orchards, along with a tap room at the Dorset Cider Farm where you may sample their wares. Ethically produced cider that is vegan and gluten free, and doesn’t contain any artificial flavours, additives or concentrates. Just naturally delicious cider as every apple intended.

Purbeck Cider Company are delighted to bring you . The new Purbeck Gold takes the place of Purbeck No.10 in a bid to reinvigorate this beautifully crafted cider.

“There’s gold in them there hills.”

Purbeck Gold showcases the finest Dorset grown bittersweet apples carefully harvested and blended for an exceptional quality cider. The finish is both bold and refined with a good depth of flavour that is balanced yet complex with subtle caramel apple tones that leave you wanting more. All beautifully complimented by its rich golden appearance giving homage to its name.

To celebrate the launch of the new cider, Purbeck Cider unveils ‘The Purbeck Gold Rush’ – A treasure hunt adventure!
