
Shoreside beach venue, on Crinnis Beach in Carlyon Bay, re-opens for 2024 with a weekend of celebrations from March 29th.
The opening Easter weekend will host two free-to-attend evenings of live music with Ben Bowden and The Pards followed by a DJ (Friday 29th, Good Friday, from 7pm) and internationally renowned DJ Kris Kool hosting the first in a new series of Sundowner Sessions on Saturday 30th from 6pm to kick-start the summer season.
A delicious array of local food and drink is also available, with the collection of foodie pop-ups offering a fresh batch of specials and opening weekend treats.
Shoreside also welcomes the return of the beach shop and a host of active experiences to get stuck into this summer – from beach yoga, to water sports, sea swims and sauna’s and mini-daytime wellness retreats (coming soon).
Shoreside offers a fun way to make the most of the coast, the lighter evenings and warmer weather.
What’s On for 2024:
• Easter Weekend Opening Celebrations (all free to attend):
o Friday March 29th – Live music from Ben Bowden & The Pards, followed by a DJ, from 7pm
o Saturday March 30th – Sundowner Session with DJ Kris Kool from 6pm
o Re-opening of the food, drink, retail, and leisure pop-ups – stop by for a beachside sauna, take to the sea with a jet-ski experience, or get involved with beach yoga (Saturday March 30th 10-11am, booking advised)
• Shoreside Sessions – from May to September, there’s free-to-attend live music from the best local bands at Shoreside Bar every Friday.
• Sundowner Sessions – new for 2024, internationally renowned DJ Kris Kool will be hosting a resident weekly sundowner session on Saturday evenings from 6pm.
• Food & Drink – a host of brilliant pop-ups return to Shoreside, serving up the best locally sourced and seasonal produce.
o Shoreside Bar – is the perfect spot by the sea to soak-up the alfresco ambiance, panoramic views, and ice-cold refreshments – served 7 days week, from 11am-11pm.
o The Mussel Shoal – offers fresh, locally sourced, seasonal seafood. French bistro style food on the beach, including mussels, chowder, squid and daily specials.
o Manor Made – this stylish cake shed, winner at this year’s Taste of the West Awards, serves an array of freshly baked sweet treats, bacon rolls, waffles, coffee and serious over the top hot chocolates!
o Jasper’s Kitchen – specialises in handmade, stone baked, freshly rolled pizzas and burgers.
o Ogy1 – Cornwall’s finest hand-made pasties.
o Callestick Farm ice-cream – delicious Callestick Farm Cornish ice-cream, made using milk from their own dairy herd, pick from the likes of salted caramel to rhubarb or bubble-gum.
o Crinnis Crib Hut – handmade sandwiches, wraps, baguettes, salad boxes and baked potatoes. Picnics and packed lunches are available for pre-order.
o Cornish Kitchen – Stevie G’s Doghouse serves tasty hot-dogs, nachos, fries and more.
• Active & wellness experiences:
o Cornwall Waverunner Safaris – offer the UK’s official Yamaha Jet Ski experience, offering a wide range of tours and sessions, family and adrenaline fuelled adventures. Plus, stand-up paddle boarding and kayak hire.
o Beach yoga – join Emma from Elm Yoga for a weekly class by the coast. 10-11am on Saturdays, booking advisable.
o Sauna – wellness, wild swimming, and wood-fired sauna on the beach on Friday evenings and Saturday daytimes (advance booking recommended).
