Coastal lifestyle destination Rockwater has confirmed the launch of a third site in Sandbanks, after welcoming more than 185,000 guests through the doors of its Hove and Branksome venues in 2023. Rockwater Sandbanks is scheduled for a summer 2024 opening, following the success of the existing sites.
Rockwater Sandbanks expands upon the existing venues located in Hove, which opened in 2020, and Branksome, which opened in autumn 2023. The new Sandbanks venue is set to complement the nearby Branksome site, with the two set to form Rockwater Village. Both beachside venues will be intrinsically linked in ethos and even transport, allowing customers to feel at home while benefiting from two separate locations and experiences to enjoy. Each destination is set to provide year-round hospitality at all times of the day; from wellbeing and fitness classes to an elevated dining experience and gigs by internationally renowned artists.
To date, the Hove and Branksome venues have proven popular, with guests enjoying the broad range of food and drink options, alongside lifestyle elements including breathwork classes, yoga sessions, and running clubs, each of which are at the heart of the Rockwater experience.

Rockwater’s multi-faceted approach is setting a new trend in hospitality, with the new flagship model in Sandbanks serving as further proof of how under-utilised seaside locations can be revitalised. Building upon the foundations laid by Hove and Branksome, the new venue will bring premium-quality dining experiences, high-profile gigs and performances, wellbeing classes and a scenic coffee lounge to Poole’s famous coastline.
