The wildly popular Newquay burger restaurant HERD is on the move, with the launch of its first South-coast pop-up at Shoreside, on Crinnis beach, in Carlyon Bay.
HERD is bringing a tasty menu of proper cheeseburgers and fries – joining the collection of foodie pop-ups at the beach venue for summer, from July 8th, 2024. These guys specialise in next-level burgers that are big on flavour and simplicity, made from scratch using top quality ingredients.
We’re talking exclusive custom bread buns by Baker Tom, bespoke native beef patties, from third generation family butchers Aubrey Allen, and a host of Herd’s homemade secret sauces and dips (be sure to try the beer mayo – created using Sharp’s Brewery Atlantic IPA, and (somewhat lifechanging!) gravy made from their braised beef brisket cooking juices.)
Shoreside beach venue is the go-to spot by the sea on the south coast for delicious local food, live music, water sports and wellness activities.
Offering a fun way to make the most of the coast, visitors can get active with a jet ski experiences, stand-up paddle board or kayak hire from Cornwall Waverunner Safaris, join a wood-fired sauna on the beach every weekend and pop-up silent disco yoga and wild swimming mini-retreats from Three Zero 12.
Or soak up the scenery and enjoy live bands every Friday night and a Saturday Sundowner Session with DJ Kris Kool, at the Shoreside Bar – the perfect spot for a brew with a view.
Jeremy Kneebone, Shoreside beach venue manager, says: “We’re stoked to be welcoming HERD to our community of local food pop-ups and know they’ll be a brilliant new addition. We’re all about delicious food and drink and bringing people together to enjoy the best of the beach.”
HERD at Shoreside will be open from 12-9pm, 7days per week from July 8th. For all the latest news and What’s On and menu information please follow @Shoresideatcarlyon and @herd.burger on Instagram.
