Inoshishi brings Izakaya dining to the door, with launch of new takeaway menu

Inoshishi Izakaya in Frome has launched a new takeaway menu, giving people the opportunity to enjoy its bold, unique and powerful collection of Japanese-inspired dishes at home, work or on the move.

With delivery now available in Frome and its surrounding villages through Uber Eats or collection from the restaurant, Inoshishi is bringing the diverse and rich flavours of Japan to even more diners across rural Somerset.

As an extension of Inoshishi’s recently launched summer menu, the takeaway offering honours local and seasonal produce in a sustainable, respectful and collaborative way, using high welfare meat and fish, alongside produce grown in The Prickly Pear Market Garden in Bruton, also part of The Prickly Pear group. The takeaway menu has been created by head chef, Jordan Confino and features small plates like salmon sashimi, green bean salad with sesame dressing, and sticky rice, furikake. Larger dishes include vegetable gyoza, chicken karaage and katsu curry, either with pork or roast aubergine.

Orders can be placed by calling 01373 469854 for collection from the Izakaya, or through the Uber Eats app from 12pm to 9pm on Wednesday to Saturday each week.

Inoshishi is open for lunch from 12pm – 3pm and dinner from 5:30pm – 9pm, Wednesday to Saturday. Find out more at their website: www.inoshishi.co and follow on Instagram and Facebook.
