Despite initial doubts about growing Sauvignon Blanc in Cornwall, the vineyard’s proximity to the coastline provides a warmer microclimate, ideal for this grape variety. Polgoon stands proudly as the only vineyard in Cornwall, and one of the few in the UK, to cultivate Sauvignon Blanc, offering a unique tasting experience that reflects the region’s maritime influence.
Rondo Rosé 2023
The Rondo Rosé 2023, released just this week, is a vibrant addition to Polgoon’s portfolio. With 5,400 bottles produced, this rosé showcases the Rondo grape’s ability to create a deep, vibrant pink wine.
