South West 660 and St Austell Brewery continue partnership

South West 660, the iconic road trip that showcases the beautiful coastline of South West England and its many hidden gems, has extended its successful partnership with St Austell Brewery for a third consecutive year.

The South West’s leading independent brewery and pub estate, St Austell Brewery was one of the first partners to join South West 660 in 2022, helping to drive tourism, after years of challenges. The successful partnership has already resulted in ongoing awareness of the region, encouraging year-round visitors and slow travel, with unique driving adventures.

With a selection of St Austell Brewery’s cosy pubs with rooms along the route, guests can enjoy affordable overnight stays, alongside a bite to eat in some of the South West’s most beautiful locations. The renewed partnership will see the continuation of exclusive perks for South West 660 members, including a 10% discount on accommodation at St Austell Brewery properties.

What’s more, the business has partnered up with Scottish Power to install over 300 new public electric vehicle chargers in its pub car parks across the South West, making the route even more accessible for electric vehicle drivers staying in one of St Austell Brewery’s cosy pubs.

Mark Godfrey, co-founder of South West 660, shares: “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with St Austell Brewery, a brand renowned for its excellence in the hospitality industry. Over the past three years, we have collaborated closely to create memorable experiences that not only boost tourism but also showcase the very best of the South West. Our joint efforts have included hosting numerous press events with national publications to raise awareness for our partners, and we are excited to continue this momentum into 2025 and beyond.”

Amy Walters, head of pub marketing and guest experience, adds: “We have built a strong and collaborative relationship with the South West 660 team, and it continues to be a pleasure to work together in showcasing the incredible businesses throughout the South West. We are excited to continue our partnership, supporting their efforts to elevate tourism and highlight the best this beautiful region has to offer.”

South West 660 is an iconic road trip that starts in Poole (Dorset) and ends in Watchet (Somerset), following the beautiful coastline of south west England. 12 unique sections, each around 50 miles long, highlight the different eating, sleeping and drinking experiences of the four counties that make up this beautiful corner of the UK.
