With new winter dining experiences, a woodfired sauna on the sand, and Christmas trees galore, Watergate Bay Hotel is the place to take a moment, embrace the haven of cheer and celebrate the Christmas season.
Executive Head Chef Chris Eden has introduced exciting new winter menus at The Beach Hut and Zacry’s. At The Beach Hut, festive classics are given a creative twist. Think Alpine Fondue, Turkey Kiev, and Eggnog Baked Alaska; paired with live music every Thursday and, of course, their famous extreme hot chocolate.

Meanwhile, Zacry’s offers a refined take on seasonal plates, with dishes including Côte de Boeuf, Charred Lion’s Mane, and a decadent Salted Caramel and Chocolarder Asháninka Tart — all served in a cosy ambiance with the calming rumbles of the Cornish coast.
Sparkling Christmas trees are scattered throughout the hotel and even down to the shoreline. For those who are looking for festive thirst-quenchers, don’t miss The Living Space’s “12 Drinks of Christmas,” a collection of expertly crafted Christmas cocktails, the perfect post-surf aperitif.
And, it wouldn’t be Watergate Bay Hotel, without bringing the outside in. This year, for a unique winter experience, the hotel’s new woodfired sauna on the sand offers panoramic views of the bay – an ideal spot to warm up and unwind, whilst embracing the beauty of the coast.
