Black Bee Honey adds Harrods to its listings

B Corp certified British beekeeping collective Black Bee Honey will be launching its new 4 Seasons British Honey Gift Box in Harrods in February.

The new Harrods food halls listing will be the first of Black Bee Honey’s own label ‘flower to jar’ honey products to be sold in the food halls after supplying the store with a range of British honey for Harrods’ own label pantry range since 2023.

The Black Bee Honey Gift Box celebrates a year in honey, bringing together Black Bees’ four seasonal honeys. Presented in a stunning gift box illustrated by Cari Vander Yacht is the creamy, soft set British Spring honey, a British Summer honey bursting with floral notes, a jar of their dark, treacle-like British Autumn honey and also British Winter honey, foraged from the flowers of ivy with hints of cool menthol.

Co founder Paul Webb says, “We’re very proud of our partnership with Harrods which began in June 2023. They expect the highest quality from their suppliers so it’s a real seal of approval for Black Bee Honey.”

Black Bee Honey was founded by beekeepers Paul Webb and Chris Barnes who met in an office 20 years ago but left their design jobs for the rooftops and gardens of London where they cared for over a million bees and established the brand. All Black Bee honeys have the location and name of the beekeeper printed on every jar. The Somerset-based company also donates 2% of its turnover for wildflower meadows and so far has created over 25 acres of meadows.

The new Harrods listing follows the company’s recent announcement that online sustainable grocer Abel & Cole will be selling their honey from January 2025.
