A new weekly podcast has been launched for folk in the South West who love dining out…and want to learn the secrets of the best in the business.
At My Table South West aims to act as a pivot between key hospitality providers in the region and the consumer. Each weekly episode will feature an interview with a main guest who will explain the reasons behind their success and provide insight into what makes them tick and why they love being involved in hospitality. They will also reveal the one product they cannot live without in their work life, plus the funniest thing that has happened to them during their career.
There will also be news on new openings, chef moves and menu launches. And each week podcast host Andy Cooper will recommended a table for two idea for dining out and a place to stay nearby. Andy will also reveal his Whinge & Whoop of the Week, highlighting the good and maybe not so good things he has revealed whilst dining out.
Andy is a writer and hospitality reviewer, who has been a journalist for almost 40 years. Most recently he was editor of Coast magazine, the national magazine for lovers of the coast, and prior to that was editor-in-chief at Devon Life magazine for 12 years.

Andy explained: “There are plenty of great podcasts featuring chefs and their restaurants and very many presented by foodie reviewers and bloggers, but not many which try to give the behind-the-scene perspective of hospitality providers for the consumer.
“And there certainly isn’t one for the South West, where we have such a stunning range of places to eat out and stay. I am looking forward to helping to promote them and the wider hospitality industry in the region through At My Table South West.”
