Butcombe Group’s People Director included in prestigious WiHTL List

Cat Moseley, People Director at Butcombe Group, has been included in this year’s prestigious ‘Women to Watch in Hospitality, Travel, Leisure & Retail Index’ produced by WiHTL & Diversity in Retail in partnership with The MBS Group.

Now in its 7th year, the Index celebrates senior women leaders and their impact across the hospitality, travel, leisure, and retail sectors. Through showcasing the variety of roles and careers that women have across the industry, WiHTL also hopes to provide inspiration to women at the earlier stages of their career about the opportunities the industry can provide.

Cat Moseley, People Director, Butcombe Group says: “I’m truly honoured to be recognised on the WiHTL Women to Watch list. The team at WiHTL has played a pivotal role in shaping the DEI landscape over recent years, and I believe that strong representation and raising awareness are key to driving meaningful change. It’s a privilege to contribute to this movement alongside such an inspiring group of women.

“Since returning to the sector last year, I’ve been incredibly inspired by the talented women I work with at Butcombe Group. We have inspirational women across the business who are dedicated to shaping the future, supporting the next generation of talent, and creating new opportunities. While there is still work to be done, I’m encouraged by the genuine focus within the organisation to accelerate the change we all want to see.”

WiHTL is the only collaboration community devoted to increasing and championing equality, diversity and inclusion across the hospitality, travel, and leisure sector.

Tea Colaianni, Founder and Chair, WiHTL & Diversity in Retail said “It’s really exciting to launch our 2025 Women to Watch in Hospitality, Travel, Leisure and Retail Index in partnership with The MBS Group. With EDI in the spotlight this year, it is more important than ever that we continue to acknowledge and celebrate the many truly inspirational examples of women blazing a trail in their field. They are a huge inspiration for all the women coming after them who will join, progress and lead our industry in the future. Congratulations to all the brilliant women role models featured in the 2025 Index!”

WiHLT’s joint mission, working with Diversity in Retail, is to support companies across hospitality, travel, leisure and retail to create diverse and inclusive environments and to positively impact 5 million employees globally by 2030.
