The iconic country house hotel, led by Chef Owner Michael Caines MBE, also reaffirms its commitment to sustainability with a comprehensive pledge to responsible hospitality, strengthening its dedication to environmental stewardship while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
2025 marks a pivotal year for Lympstone Manor as it strengthens its commitment to sustainability through Relais & Châteaux’s global ‘In Harmony with all Life on Earth’ initiative with UNESCO. As a proud Relais & Châteaux member with Michael Caines as the delegate for the UK and Ireland; forming part of the Board of Directors for Relais and Châteaux Michael is also a member of the World Culinary Council. The Relais & Châteaux World Culinary Council is a think tank formed of 21 visionary chefs from Relais & Châteaux. Lympstone Manor leads by example in creating a more responsible, regenerative hospitality industry.
The pledge focuses on biodiversity, reducing waste, sourcing responsibly and conservation – from rewilding the estate and supporting regenerative farming to reducing single-use plastics and improving water management.
Pool Party | 7th June
Lympstone Manor’s legendary Pool Party returns with BBQ favourites, Neapolitan pizzas, fresh salads, French patisserie desserts, a heated outdoor pool, tennis, croquet, live music, dancing, starlit cocktails and more. Set against the backdrop of the 28-acre Devonshire estate. Tickets are priced at £95 per person, with complimentary access for House Members.

Vineyard Tours | May to September
Guests and non-residents can explore the beautiful vineyard through a series of guided tours. With 17,500 vines of Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay, the estate produces award-winning, single-vineyard wines. The tour offers an insight into the winemaking process, from vine to glass, in a beautiful setting overlooking the Exe Estuary. Guests can tailor their vineyard experience with a variety of dining options including a Michelin-starred lunch or Pool House lunch in a more relaxed setting.
Smooth Jazz Supper Club | 7th May
The Smooth Jazz Supper Club takes place at the Pool House Restaurant and Bar, featuring live music from the acclaimed Ronnie Jones Jazz Trio. The evening will commence at 7.00pm with canapés and an arrival drink, followed by a four-course dinner paired with specially selected wines, coffee, and petits fours. The trio, recognised across the South West jazz scene, has performed at prestigious venues including Ronnie Scott’s and BBC Radio 3.

Spanish Wine Dinner with Damon Little | 21st May
A special Spanish Wine Dinner will take place at the Pool House Restaurant, featuring a Spanish-inspired menu created by Michael Caines. The evening will be hosted by Damon Little of Liberty Wines and will showcase the diversity of Spain’s wine regions, with pairings from both established and emerging producers. The event will begin with canapés and an arrival drink, followed by the curated dinner and wine pairings.
An Evening with Michael Caines | 4th June
Michael Caines will host an exclusive evening in the Michelin-starred restaurant, celebrating the award-winning wines and spirits of the Lympstone Manor Estate. A specially designed menu using the finest local produce will be paired with wines including the Classic Cuvée, Isabeau Rosé, Edwards Chardonnay, and Triassic Pinot Noir. Michael will introduce each course alongside Operations Director and Vineyard Manager Steve Edwards, who will present the estate’s wines and spirits, including its Gin and Eau de Vie, crafted from the estate’s grape distillation.
Seafood Supper with the Exmouth Shanty Men | 25th June
The Seafood Supper in the Pool House Restaurant and Bar will be accompanied by live sea shanty performances from the Exmouth Shanty Men. The evening will begin at 7.00pm with canapés and an arrival drink, followed by a four-course seafood dinner with wine pairings, coffee, and petits fours. The Exmouth Shanty Men, one of the South West’s most established shanty crews, bring an authentic and entertaining repertoire, with past performances across Europe and on BBC television and radio.
Michael Caines’ influence in the culinary world continues to expand with his new appointment as Culinary Strategist for The Stafford London. With a celebrated career that includes mentoring future chefs through the Michael Caines Academy and earning an MBE for his contributions to hospitality, Caines remains a driving force in the industry.
