Warrens Bakery, the oldest Cornish pasty producer in the world, continues its growth across the West Country with a new store opening due this year in Weston-super-Mare, 165 years after opening its first store on Market Square in St Just, Penzance.
The store marks continuing success and expansion for Warrens Bakery, one of Cornwall’s most well known and loved brands, and is due to open in middle of June. With this new addition, the business will have 44 stores that stretch across and beyond the South West, from its original bakery in St Just to shops in Falmouth, Truro, Exeter, Taunton and Cardiff, amongst others. It’s also expanded into railway stations with further shops in Bath Spa, Basingstoke and Slough.
A recent refurbishment of Warrens’ Paignton bakery has seen a 61% increase in sales since the revamp, and the Torquay store is set to undergo a similar refit this summer. In addition, a rebrand and refit of its restaurant brand Goodness At Greens in Derriford Hospital is also currently underway.

Paul Denham, Retail Director of Warren’s Bakery comments, “We’ve come a long way since our first ever family bakery in St Just. We’re excited and proud to be opening a new store in this fantastic location, serving customers a taste of Cornwall with our renowned pasties and a host of other delicious fresh produce.”
Established in 1860, Warrens Bakery has remained committed to provenance, artisanal craftsmanship and innovative flavours while honouring beloved traditional recipes, ensuring that it caters to all tastes and occasions.
Fans of Warrens Bakery will be able to enjoy their long-time favourites at the new location, from its iconic Cornish pasties to pastries and freshly brewed tea and coffee, alongside its newly launched produce for spring that includes a Steak and Cornish Blue Cheese Pasty, an exclusive collaboration with The Cornish Cheese Co.
