On the B3098, on the outskirts of the pretty village of Edington is the beautifully restored Three Daggers Pub and its stunning timber barn farm shop.

Highly prized by locals and joyfully discovered by passing tourists, the farm shop has earned a reputation for good quality, delicious deli style food, fabulous coffee and treats to keep the smile on your face even on a drizzly, Monday morning.
Step into the high-ceilinged barn and your senses are alive to the quality produce on every shelf. The deli counter tempts you over to choose between fat, round scotch eggs or flaky sausage rolls, fluted pies or salmon paté. The pastries are equally hard to resist with massive doughnuts topped with swirls of lemon cream or pecan, walnut & caramel tiffin for the nut lovers out there.
An easy lunchtime takeaway can be chosen from the salads and sandwiches, or pick your own favourite loaf from the baskets of fresh bread and top it off with a wickedly decadent pot of trout caviar! This is food that gets your taste buds working long before it actually hits your tongue.
But know that the provenance of the food is extremely important to the farm shop management. As much as possible is grown on the Priory Farm site or sourced from local suppliers. Beautiful fish comes from Kingfisher in Brixham, with fruit from Four Seasons and meat from Padfield Porkies (3rd generation pig farmers) and Walter Rose & Sons Butchers. The bread is made by Master Baker James Bollen who produces artisan and seasonal loaves delivered fresh every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. An ever-growing selection of beer is actually brewed on site at the adjoining brewery and boasts a loyal following from locals and visitors.
This is a farm shop that repays a detour whether you are hiking across Salisbury Plain, commuting home from Westbury station or cycling the lanes of Wiltshire – a few more miles is worth the effort!
