Primrose Farm Shop & Café, the newly opened hub at Lymburghs Farm near Marnhull, will officially celebrate its launch with a Grand Opening event on Saturday 11th October 2025.
After months of planning and extensive renovation, the new Farm Shop & Café opened its doors earlier this summer, offering the community a place to shop, eat, and connect. The Grand Opening will mark the occasion with a full day of festivities, featuring a celebrity chef showcase by Philippa Davis , live music, guided farm walks with Jim, bee talk, and plenty of epic food and drink from the farm and local producers.
Adding to the excitement, the 25th customer through the door on the day will win a free luxury hamper, packed with some of the finest produce and treats from the shop.
“We wanted to create more than just a farm shop,” said Gilla. “Our vision is to build a space where people can enjoy the very best produce, relax with friends, and feel part of a thriving local community. The Grand Opening is our way of celebrating this new chapter and thanking everyone who has supported us along the way.”
The Farm Shop stocks a wide range of products including organic vegetables, fruit, eggs, and meat from the farm’s own fields, alongside carefully selected dry goods, household items, and products from other trusted local producers. Experienced barista Ilona will be serving artisan organic coffee, tea, and cakes in the café, with a distinctly European flavour reflecting the founders’ Germanic heritage.
The new building has been handcrafted with timber from Conygar, built by a local carpenter, and designed to complement the farm’s rural surroundings.
