Introducing Padstowe Christmas Fayre

A new four-day free to attend festival launches in Padstow for Christmas 2025 – introducing Padstow Christmas Fayre, taking place from December 4-7th.

The pretty harbour town of Padstow is set to sparkle this winter with the arrival of a new festive, family-friendly, food event – with special guest chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth joining the line-up.

In a magical celebration of the season, Padstow Christmas Fayre promises a vibrant programme of chef demonstrations, masterclasses, an artisan market, family activities, carols, fireworks and an enchanting lantern display – plus much more to be announced very soon.

The four-day community-led event is expected to attract thousands of visitors in a joyful celebration of Cornish food and drink, bringing the local community together – whilst raising funds and awareness for charities including Hospitality Action and the RNLI.

The organisers of the new festival are leading Cornish event production company Mission Code – who’re also behind the award-winning Porthleven and St Ives Food Festivals and work across a portfolio of large-scale outdoor events and festivals.

The expert events team were appointed after application by Padstow Harbour Commissioners to create a new winter event for Padstow, for the benefit of the town during the quieter winter months.

Preparations are now well underway, and Mission Code has also created a steering group, made-up of residents and business owners to work hand-in-hand with the local community to help shape the Fayre’s harbourside festivities.

Adrian Oliver, Padstow Christmas Fayre Steering Group member, says: “We are so pleased to welcome a new four-day festive event to celebrate our brilliant Cornish food and drink producers, chef talent, Christmas and all things Padstow.”

Cornish brand consultant Jaz Cottam created the new Padstow Christmas Fayre identity, which is inspired by Padstow’s community, sense of place and takes inspiration from folklore traditions and yuletide celebrations. The logo of a fishing boat puts the harbour as the heart of Padstow, front and centre; alongside a Christmas inspired colour palate of ‘mistletoe’, ‘brandy cream’, ‘deep berry’ red, ‘spruce green’ and ‘December sky’ blue.

Whether a Padstow local or a visitor discovering the town for the first time, Padstow Christmas Fayre offers something for everyone.
