Host Planet Roadshow, self-catering short term rental event, comes to Cornwall

On Thursday 5 February 2026 Host Planet Roadshow, an immersive self-catering short term rental industry event, will arrive in Cornwall, sponsored by Beach Retreats.

Host Planet Roadshow is where the short-term rental (STR) community unites to collaborate, learn and shape the future of hosting. The event is a curated, roundtable experience designed to bring collaboration, thought leadership and meaningful conversations for property managers, property owners, industry suppliers and key influencers. Cornwall is one of the most active STR markets in the UK – making it a prime destination for the first leg of the Host Planet Roadshow.

The Cornwall event will take place at Oceanside Hotel in Newquay, addressing key insights and concerns that affect Cornwall’s STR industry. Attendees will have access to:

  • Knowledge sharing roundtables.
  • 10-minute knowledge burst session.
  • Dedicated panels led by leaders within the self-catering industry. Networking opportunities with politicians, trade bodies, media and major brands.
  • Post-event insights and impact report.

The above includes a Cornwall-focused panel led by Andy Easton, Managing Director of Beach Retreats, headline sponsor of the event, alongside Katie Warren, self-catering industry advocate, and Andy Fenner, Chief Executive of the STAA (Short Term Accommodation Association). This event will enhance collaboration and build connection, offering the opportunity for local companies to connect with large-scale suppliers and move the STR industry forwards.

Andy Easton, Managing Director of Beach Retreats, says: “We are excited to partner with Host Planet for their Cornwall event. At Beach Retreats, as one of the leading Cornwall self-catering holiday letting agencies, we are passionate about addressing the constant changes in the STR industry, but always in a positive and proactive way. This event gives us the vital opportunity to discuss impactful insights, learn from our peers and meet new people.”

James Varley, Founder and CEO of Host Planet, comments: “Cornwall is one of the most dynamic and important STR markets in the UK, so bringing the Host Planet Roadshow here was a natural choice.

“The Roadshow is about creating meaningful, local conversations that move the industry forward – not talking at people, but bringing together operators, owners, suppliers, trade bodies, and policymakers around the same table.

“Partnering with Beach Retreats, a brand that truly understands the Cornwall market and the importance of proactive, responsible growth, allows us to deliver an event that’s both relevant and impactful for the local self-catering community.”

Tickets are £40 per person and can be purchased here.
