St Austell Brewery and St. Ewe launch limited-edition ‘Tribute Eggstra’

Two Cornish businesses have come together to launch Tribute Eggstra – the world’s first high protein beer brewed with eggs.

Built on St Austell Brewery’s flagship Tribute pale ale, this limited edition cask ale is brewed with free-range St. Ewe eggs, giving it a rich, velvety twist. Early tasters have described the beer as “lightly malty, smooth as a yolk, with a subtle custard finish…surprisingly drinkable”.

Alongside its unique flavour profile, Tribute Eggstra delivers some unusual benefits. It’s packed with protein – for peak pre or post exercise performance – and serves a perfect breakfast pint.
A spokesperson for the collaboration said: “It’s a cracking good brew – though we do recommend gentle pouring to avoid any omelette incidents.”

Tribute Eggstra Special will be available for one day only on 1st April. A true feat of brewing brilliance, this protein packed pint promises free-range flavour that will whisk you away.
