
The Institute of Hospitality South West Region is delighted to invite hospitality professionals to an exclusive “Meet the Gin Maker” networking event, taking place on 22 April 2026, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, at the iconic Boringdon Hall Hotel, Plymouth.

This engaging evening brings together industry peers for a unique behind-the-scenes experience with Devon Distillery, offering attendees the chance to learn more about the craft of gin-making while enjoying networking in a relaxed and inspiring setting.

Guests will enjoy an informative talk and live demonstration from Devon Distillery, exploring how gin is created — whether for commercial use within hospitality businesses or simply for enjoyment at home. The session will be complemented by a guided gin tasting, followed by networking with fellow hospitality professionals from across the South West.
About Devon Distillery
Founded in 2012 and based in South Devon, Devon Distillery is the UK’s only distillery producing the award-winning grape-marc spirit Dappa. The distillery is also known for its creative mobile gin-making concept, Still on the Move, led by founder Cosmo Caddy. Using a beautifully restored 1973 VW pick-up and bespoke copper stills, Devon Distillery creates tailored gin experiences for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and bespoke “house gins” for bars, pubs and restaurants across the UK.
