Bristol-based artisan chilli sauce producer Easton Chilli has unveiled an exciting new chapter in its growth story with the launch of its dedicated Cookery School, bringing hands-on, chilli-focused classes to the heart of its Easton HQ.
Known for its bold, globally inspired flavours and fast-growing reputation, the multi-award-winning business is now inviting food lovers to join them in the kitchen and create something delicious for themselves. The new programme features a series of relaxed and experimental cooking classes, with five chilli-focused classes designed to suit all levels.
Hosted in Easton Chilli’s production kitchen, the classes offer a rare opportunity to learn directly from an award-winning producer, which has grown from kitchen-table beginnings during the pandemic into a thriving independent business producing thousands of jars each year and stocked across the UK.
The Cookery School builds on strong demand for the company’s existing workshops – particularly its regularly sold-out “Chilli Saucery: Make Your Own Chilli Sauce” experience. Also in the new offering are a fermentation focussed class, and three classes highlighting saucy dishes from regional cuisines -starting with Thai, Malay, and Sichuan Chinese. The development reflects a broader ambition to create a community hub centred around food, learning and creativity.
The launch comes at a high point for Easton Chilli, following major recognition at the prestigious Taste of the West Awards, where its Pa Lo Hot Sauce was named Champion in the Sauces & Accompaniments category. The accolade places the Bristol producer among the South West’s most exciting food brands, celebrated for quality, innovation and regional impact; and is another to add to their collection which includes a 3* Great Taste award for their Black Garlic Chilli Jam.
Collaboration continues to play a key role in the company’s evolution. Recent partnerships include the creation of a Hong Kong-style chilli oil with Bristol restaurant WANGS, a development of the oil served with their hand-made dumplings, and a hot sauce developed with Easton-based charity Coexist Community Kitchen, reinforcing Easton Chilli’s commitment to supporting its local community.
These ventures, alongside the new Cookery School, and an upcoming online subscription scheme for their chilli sauces, highlight a business that is not only scaling production but deepening its connection with customers – transforming from a producer into a destination for food experiences.
With its combination of award-winning products, collaborative spirit and now an interactive learning space, Easton Chilli is fast becoming a cornerstone of Bristol’s vibrant food scene – inviting people not just to taste the heat, but to create it.
