Chef Adam Handling MBE is excited to announce a new four-hands dinner series at his Michelin-starred Newquay restaurant, Ugly Butterfly by Adam Handling. Over the next few months, Adam will welcome three of the UK’s most exciting Michelin-starred chefs into his stunning coastal restaurant to create exclusive tasting menus that celebrate the very best of their individual styles, cooked side-by-side in Ugly Butterfly’s open kitchen.

Thursday 4th June 2026 – Chef Nieves Barragán, Sabor and Legado, London (in collaboration with Estrella Galicia)
Tuesday 21st July 2026 – Chef Andy Beynon, Behind, London
Tuesday 8th September 2026 – Chef Simon Hulstone, The Elephant, Torquay
The Four-Hands Dinner Series will begin on Thursday 4th June and will run until 8th September, with each chef joining Adam for a one-off, unforgettable evening of great food and drinks. The chefs will cook together at Ugly Butterfly, showcasing dishes that celebrate their individual styles and their shared dedication to innovation, sustainability and pushing the boundaries of professional cooking in Britain.

Later on in the year, Frog by Adam Handling in Covent Garden will also be hosting a range of special dinners as it continues its ‘Friends of Frog’ collaboration series, from Monday 7th September – Tuesday 3rd November, with top chefs joining from Lyla, Orrery and Midsummer House.
Adam Handling MBE says: “I’ve always believed the most exciting things in this industry happen when you cook alongside people who see food in a completely different way to you. This series is about exactly that. Bringing together chefs I genuinely admire and letting those different perspectives, backgrounds and styles collide in 6 exclusive menus with some of my friends and legends in the industry, bringing together 9 Michelin Stars between us.

“This time we’re doing 3 dinners at Ugly Butterfly and 3 at Frog, to make it a little easier for guests to join us wherever they are in the country. It’s going to be amazing and something guests hopefully won’t forget anytime soon.”
Ugly Butterfly by Adam Handling received its first Michelin Star in January 2026. Part of the wider Adam Handling Collection, it’s known for its commitment to exceptional produce, creativity and immersive dining, with magnificent coastal views out to Fistral Bay.
Collaboration One: Chef Adam Handling MBE X Chef Nieves Barragán, Sabor and Legado X Estrella Galicia – Thursday 4th June
The first dinner will bring together Chef Adam Handling MBE and Nieves Barragán, Chef Owner of the Michelin-starred London restaurants Sabor and Legado, for an evening in collaboration with Estrella Galicia.

Guests will be offered a special one-night-only menu, featuring snacks followed by three dishes from each chef and an indulgent dessert. They will also have the opportunity to chat with both chefs before dinner and enjoy a selection of brilliant beers, including Estrella Galicia Cerveza Lager 4.7% and non-alcoholic lager Estrella Galicia 0,0%, picked out to pair with the meal, with wine also available.
Leonora Mellish, Marketing Manager at Estrella Galicia commented: “We’re proud to bring together two Michelin-starred chefs through a collaboration rooted in the shared connection between the Cornwall and Galicia Atlantic coastlines and its extraordinary seafood produce. With gastronomy at the heart of Estrella Galicia, this partnership perfectly reflects our passion for exceptional food and beer experiences.”
Barragán learnt the ins and outs of Spain’s produce and cooking at an early age, having grown up in the Basque region. Similarly to Adam, her menus are inspired by the fresh ingredients surrounding her, finding the best ways to celebrate the food of her home country. Shaped by a career that spans Simply Nico, Fino, and four locations of Barrafina, she has expanded her offering to go beyond tapas to celebrate Spanish cooking as a whole at her own restaurants, Sabor and Legado, with her most recently opened restaurant Legado earning a Michelin Star just six months after opening.
This one-night-only collaboration will highlight signature dishes from each chef, along with a few surprises that can only be tasted on the night.
Further information about each of the collaborations will be released in due course.
Tickets are priced at £175pp* and are bookable via reservations@uglybutterfly.co.uk and info@frogbyadamhandling.com.
