Food remains a key part of the Royal Bath & West Show’s offer this year, as the long-established agricultural event returns to Somerset from 28–30 May.
At the centre of the food programme is the Great British Kitchen, where visitors can enjoy live demonstrations from chefs including Andy Clarke, James Strawbridge and Big Nath, showcasing seasonal dishes and barbecue techniques. The expanded Food & Drink Pavilion will also bring together a wide range of producers, offering opportunities to sample and discover local food and drink.
However, the show’s food focus sits firmly within its wider celebration of agriculture and the countryside. Attractions such as Lakeside Farm give visitors a closer look at farming, livestock and crop production, reinforcing the connection between what is grown and what ends up on the plate.

Set across 240 acres, the Royal Bath & West Show continues to showcase the breadth of rural life, with livestock displays, equestrian events and countryside activities forming a central part of the programme. Highlights include the Shetland Pony Grand National, alongside hands-on experiences in areas such as the Woodland & Countryside Arena.
Alongside this, live music, vintage attractions and family-friendly entertainment add to the atmosphere, making the event a popular fixture in the regional calendar.
With its blend of agriculture, food and rural heritage, the Royal Bath & West Show remains an important platform for both producers and the wider countryside community.
Tickets are available now via www.bathandwest.com, with family tickets (two adults and three children) priced from £60.
