New membership benefits launched by leading regional food and drink group

Taste of the West — the South West’s leading food and drink membership organisation — has launched its most comprehensive membership programme to date, opening to applications on Monday 11 May 2026.

The relaunched Community Interest Company now offers three membership tiers – Connect, Transform and Accelerate – available separately for Producers and for Hospitality & Retail businesses across Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, The Channel Islands, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.
A refreshed Affiliate and Sponsorship programme is also available for commercial partners.

Membership at a Glance
Connect — Entry-level membership with free award entries, the Taste of the West quality mark, network access and regulatory support*.
Transform — Adds online training, sustainability tools, Food Safety Helpline, Primary Authority access and specialist support.
Accelerate — Everything in Transform, plus mentoring, managed networking and free event access.
*A 20% start-up discount is available on Connect membership for businesses trading for fewer than two years.

Commercial partnership tiers – Affiliate, Ambassador and Founder – are also available for wholesalers, suppliers and businesses looking to connect with the region’s food and drink community.

“This membership programme has been designed to reflect what businesses actually need: practical tools, genuine connections, expert support, and a quality mark that means something.”
Charles Baughan, Spokesperson, Taste of the West
