The Atlantic Hotel in Newquay has officially unveiled The Lookout, a newly reimagined luxury coastal residence perched high above Cornwall’s dramatic north coast.
Now open for stays from 1st June 2026, The Lookout marks the first completed project since The Atlantic joined The Cornwall Hotel Collection, introducing an exciting new accommodation offering at one of Cornwall’s most iconic seaside hotels.
Set across two beautifully redesigned floors and sleeping up to eight guests, The Lookout combines contemporary coastal luxury with some of the most spectacular views in Cornwall. From its elevated position above Newquay, guests can enjoy uninterrupted panoramic vistas stretching across the Atlantic Ocean, while remaining just moments from the town’s vibrant centre, golden beaches and famous surf.
Designed in collaboration with a local interior designer, The Lookout has been transformed into a warm and inviting retreat inspired by its coastal surroundings. Soft textures, natural materials and calming ocean hues create a relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere, offering guests a space designed for unhurried stays, family gatherings and restorative escapes by the sea.
Ahead of its official opening, the residence welcomed actress Helen Flanagan and her family as its first guests.
