Big Brand, Big Ideas: Rodda’s Innovates at The Food WorksSW

The Food WorksSW – food and drink innovation and development centre in North Somerset – recently welcomed Rodda’s Clotted Cream into their purpose-built dairy kitchen. With the support of their our on-site technical team they were able to work on an exciting new product being developed.
The Cornish dairy company made use of the purpose-built facility whilst their own development centre is under construction. “Such a brilliant facility. Thank you to the fantastic team at The Food WorksSW, it made a very long day much easier, and the results were great!” – Dan Zackey, Roddas
The dairy is one of 5 kitchens available for short term rental at The Food WorksSW – with each kitchen having its own features; a drinks kitchen with newly installed canning line and a bakery with industrial equipment perfect for scaling up production. The kitchens are perfect for product trials, menu development, scaling up, event preparation space, concept-to-launch, manufacturing and much more.
Zoe Plant the NPD and Innovation manager said “Working with Roddas in our Dairy has been a pleasure. It’s always great to see our equipment and facilities used in different ways and having such a well-known brand on site will hopefully show smaller brands that innovation doesn’t always have to be on a big scale.”
As well as the kitchens there are also food grade business units, meeting and conference facilities and a business lounge and café on site. A one-stop-shop for food and drink businesses in the South West. Find out more information here www.foodworks-sw.co.uk.
