Daish’s Holidays, an independent coach holiday group, has appointed Imran Muhammad as Group Financial Controller and Craig Hodgkinson as Operations Manager, strengthening its senior leadership team as it continues to invest in the future growth of the business.
Based at the company’s Bournemouth head office and working across its portfolio of 11 UK hotels, the two appointments bring almost 40 years of combined hospitality experience to Daish’s Holidays, further enhancing its operational and financial expertise.
As Group Financial Controller, Imran will lead the company’s finance function, overseeing management reporting, financial controls, compliance, and the continued development of the finance team. With 14 years’ experience in hospitality finance, Imran began his career at a London-based accountancy practice before helping to establish the finance function at Oceana Hotels in 2015. Following the company’s relocation to Bournemouth, he continued to build his expertise in hospitality finance prior to Daish’s Holidays.
Craig joins the business as Operations Director, bringing more than 25 years’ experience in the hospitality sector. Having worked in hotel management before holding senior operational positions, including area manager and operations director, Craig will oversee operational performance across the group’s hotels. His responsibilities include supporting hotel general managers, maintaining consistent standards, and overseeing recruitment, training, compliance, and driving continuous improvement across the hotel portfolio.
Imran says: “I am delighted to be joining the team at Daish’s Holidays. The opportunity to further develop the finance function really appealed to me, having done something similar earlier in my career. I was also attracted by Daish’s strong family values and supportive culture. I look forward to working with the team to strengthen financial processes and support the continued success of the business.”
Craig adds: “Becoming part of a well-established family business with such a strong reputation for customer service was a huge draw for me. After spending much of my career with large organisations, I was looking for an opportunity where I could work more closely with the owners and see the direct impact of the decisions we make. I’m looking forward to working alongside the hotel teams to support their development, and ensure every guest enjoys the same high standards, whichever Daish’s hotel they visit.”
George Brown, Managing Director at Daish’s Holidays, says: “We are thrilled to welcome both Imran and Craig to Daish’s Holidays. They each bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in their respective fields, and their appointments reflect our continued investment in the business as we build for the future. Imran’s financial leadership and Craig’s operational experience will strengthen the business and help us continue delivering the high-quality holidays and excellent customer service our guests expect.”
The appointments form part of Daish’s Holidays’ ongoing investment in its people, processes and operational excellence.
