Cosy Club Bristol reopens following elegant revamp of iconic heritage site

Cosy Club Bristol has reopened its doors after a sensitive and stylish revamp, bringing it in line with Cosy Club’s evolved look and feel while preserving everything guests love about the iconic Grade II‑listed building at 31 Corn Street.

Collaborating with makers and artisans across the UK, the design team has dressed the space with bespoke patterned fabrics by Anna Hayman, artwork by Isobel Harvey and a palette inspired by iconic 20th‑century style. The result is a blend of nostalgic glamour and subtle cinematic flair. Original features and timeless architecture remain the star of the show, with the refreshed Cosy Club aesthetic carefully threaded through to enhance the building’s historic character. Sumptuous terracotta and blush pink fabrics, draped in a classical style across furniture and walls, bring softness and warmth to the interiors, sitting beautifully alongside the original stonework to create an inviting, unmistakably Cosy atmosphere.

A newly zoned layout offers flexibility for every occasion, from fixed seating for larger groups to intimate corners perfect for date nights. At the heart of the room sits a striking central furniture piece inspired by the building’s grand arched windows, with subtle cues drawn from the romance of classic luxury train travel. All artwork throughout the site has been newly commissioned, including two bespoke fabric wall hangings crafted by the Loungers specialist decorating team. The bar, long considered the heartbeat of Cosy Club Bristol, has also been redesigned to introduce more scale, light and presence.

Bespoke lighting now warms the cosier corners, while a new, unique to Cosy Club, carpet brings a distinct feel to the private dining area. Mirrored ceilings and softly illuminated staircases add a touch of glamour and playfulness to one of the city’s grandest hospitality settings.

Ryan McDonald, General Manager, Cosy Club Bristol says: “This building means a great deal to our guests and our team, so it was important that the refresh honoured its history while bringing in the warmth and personality of the new Cosy Club look. We’re incredibly proud of how the redesign enhances the original features and creates even more beautiful spaces for people to enjoy.
“Bristol has always been a special Cosy Club, and this next chapter feels like a very natural evolution. With Christmas celebrations just around the corner, the team is looking forward to welcoming guests for a season of proper festive cheer.”

Two spaces within the building have also been redesigned in the new look – the former Peacock Room, now The Rothman Suite, and The Mezzanine, both are available for private hire.

Cosy Club Bristol’s redesign signals a bold new chapter for the site, honouring its heritage while welcoming the brand’s contemporary evolution. With the festive party season fast approaching, the reopening is perfectly timed and ready for Bristol to host everyone’s Christmas celebrations in true Cosy Club style.
