Twixmas bookings up more than 20% at Daish’s Holidays as holidaymakers stretch out the festive season

Daish’s Holidays, the independent family-owned coach holiday company, has seen bookings for its Twixmas breaks rise by more than 20 per cent year on year, as more holidaymakers choose UK breaks to extend their celebrations into the days between Christmas and New Year. Bookings across all three of its festive break periods* are up 16 per cent.

The company, which owns and operates 11 seaside hotels across England and Wales as well as a fleet of touring coaches, notes that bookings are up by double digits for each of its festive break periods compared with the same time last year.

Paul Harper, Commercial Director at Daish’s Holidays, said: “A rise in festive bookings overall shows that more guests than ever are looking to make the most of the whole festive period, whether celebrating Christmas away from home, extending the festivities with a Twixmas escape, or welcoming in the New Year with a great value UK break. We’re seeing people plan further across the festive season, often booking beyond the traditional Christmas period, and many of our guests want an easy, sociable way to keep the celebrations going right through to the New Year.”

Paul added: “Our festive breaks are designed to make celebrating easy. Daish’s Holidays bring together hotel accommodation, optional coach travel, dining, entertainment, activities and excursions in a single holiday package, and as specialists in affordable UK coach and self-drive breaks to our own collection of hotels, we know how to create a warm, welcoming, and traditional festive experience. This is particularly popular with our loyal over-65 guests, and the strong demand we’re seeing shows how much people value that sense of occasion. With New Year bookings up 17.4 per cent, it’s clear that more people want to see in 2027 with us, and there’s still time to join us for a gala celebration by the sea.”

New Year breaks are still available, with four-night packages starting from £359 per person. Prices include a gala dinner and nightly live entertainment, with optional coach travel from pick-up points across England and Wales.

Christmas breaks are fully booked, and a waiting list is currently available. For more information, please visit www.daishs.com.
