Wise Bar Trader launches one-stop shop for alcohol-free drinks

Wise Bartender, the UK’s largest online retailer specialising in alcohol-free drinks, has extended its business to incorporate Wise Bar Trader, the UK’s only e-store offering advice, supply and support for trade customers.

The expansion has been made in response to an increasing demand for expert guidance in low and no-alcohol drinks as on and off trade retailers familiarise themselves with this thriving sector as Wise Bar Trader founder and CEO, Tom Ward, explains. “Recent research from the Portman Group revealed that almost one in three (32%) of UK drinkers ‘semi-regularly’ consume low and no alcohol products compared to one in four (25%) in 2020. It also showed that a fifth (20%) of people who have tried low and no alcohol say they are more likely to drink these products now compared to a year ago, a figure which has almost doubled since the previous year’s survey (11%). With such growing interest it is vital for trade operators to understand the potential of alcohol-free drinks and respond with more urgency to claim a bigger share of this market and the profit that can be achieved.”

“We are seeing continuous innovation in emerging categories such as kombucha, mead and sodas as well as the more established beer, wine, cider and spirit brands, and it can be difficult for busy retailers to keep up to date and familiarise themselves with all the latest products on the market. However, consumer interest and exploration remain high so there is no room for complacency or hesitation in stocking a varied alcohol-free range.”

Tom believes that those operators who do recognise the potential of product diversification can achieve big returns by attracting the custom of non-drinkers and is offering a support service through Wise Bar Trader to help realise the potential.

“Increasingly operators are turning to Wise Bar Trader for specialist advice and insight into current customer trends to help make the selection and supply of alcohol-free drinks easier to manage. By helping to curate a bespoke alcohol-free drinks list, offering flexibility to test alternatives, and supplying their range direct rather than having to deal with multiple suppliers, Wise Bar Trader is making the alcohol-free sector easily accessible for an increasing number of hospitality venues and shops. We have an extensive range of over 450 products and with no minimum order and free delivery to anywhere in the UK for orders over £99 + VAT, Wise Bar Trader is providing a service that enables everyone to test the alcohol-free market in their business.”

For further information on how Wise Bar Trader can help your business, visit Tom and the team at Stand D53 at The Source Roadshow in Bristol on the 16th of June or contact hello@wisebartender.co.uk or call 07585 904654
