New Coppa Club site opens in Bath with upstairs all-day lounge bar

Various Eateries has opened The Bath Townhouse Coppa Club on the site of a former GAP store in the city’s Old Bond Street.

The 11th Coppa Club to open and the second in the south west, the new venue is set over two levels. The main restaurant, bar and café space are located on the ground floor with “Upstairs at the Townhouse” on the second floor. This all-day lounge bar serves signature cocktails and food.

The seasonal menu includes British and Mediterranean classics with a modern twist including grills, sharing plates, salads, and sourdough pizzas.

The website encourages visitors to “Drop by anytime to the ground floor café and bar for coffee, a bite to eat or something stronger. Or head up the Art Deco staircase to the opulent club lounge to work, relax, eat, drink and enjoy a cocktail at the bar.”

Yishay Malkov, chief executive of Various Eateries, said: “Our ‘Upstairs at The Townhouse’ space is a first for Coppa Club and adds another dimension to our all-day venue. By offering a new idea to the Bath all-day dining scene, we hope to cement our place within the community.”
