Lyme Bay Winery has launched an exciting competition for wine enthusiasts across the country to celebrate English Wine Week. The competition is set to run until June 30th and will give wine lovers the chance to win a night’s stay and dinner for two in a boutique hotel, plus a vineyard tour and tasting with Lyme Bay’s winemaker.
The location is in the beautiful Crouch Valley region of Essex, where their award-winning pinot noir and chardonnay grapes are grown.
To enter the competition, customers can purchase a bottle of Lyme Bay Winery’s still or sparkling English wine from any participating store or online retailer (listed below). Once the purchase is made, simply scan the QR code on the inside of the neck collar, which will take participants directly to the competition page. There they enter their name, email, the name of the store where the wine was bought, and the unique code.
10 runners up will win a case of Lyme Bay Winery’s award-winning wines, across the still and sparkling English wine range. The lucky winners will be announced on Tuesday 4th July, just in time for summer holidays.
“We’re thrilled to offer this competition as part of English Wine Week,” said James Lambert, Managing Director at Lyme Bay Winery. “Our still and sparkling wines are made with the highest quality grapes grown across the South of England. We’re passionate about sharing our love of wine with customers across the country, and this competition is the perfect opportunity to do just that.”
English Wine Week is an annual celebration of English wine and the vineyards that produce it. The week-long event runs from 17th – 25th June and aims to promote English wine as a premium product and to encourage wine enthusiasts to discover new vineyards.
