Following a period of consistent growth, Eat PR & Marketing, a specialist hospitality, retail and foodservice agency, based in Wiltshire, has appointed experienced communications professional, Jonathan Patterson, to its team.
Bringing with him more than two decades of dedicated industry experience, Jonathan, or JP as many know him, combines his passion for food with his exceptional knowledge and understanding of what makes a successful PR and marketing campaign. Having worked previously as a PR Director at Mercieca and as Client Services Director at The Hub, two prominent industry agencies, Jonathan has experience managing high-profile accounts including P&G, Coca-Cola, Diageo, Nisbets, Kerry and Mondelez to name just a few.
Launched in 2021, Eat PR & Marketing has quickly grown to become one of the most prominent specialist foodservice and hospitality agencies. Located at the Glove Factory Studios in Holt, near Bath, the company represents clients including voco St. David’s Hotel, Cardiff, part of the IHG Group, Middleton Foods, and The Burnt Chef Project. Having recently been appointed as the agency for both Signature FSE and Panasonic, the company took the decision to hire someone with Jonathan’s experience to expand the senior team.
On the company’s growth and Jonathan’s appointment, Andrew Taylor, Founder of Eat PR & Marketing comments: “We’re extremely proud to have Jonathan join Eat PR, further strengthening our offering and allowing him to use his knowledge and experience to benefit our growing client base. Having launched the business in 2021, we are honoured to work with such a distinguished portfolio of clients. This is something that is a testament to our team’s hard work, dedication and understanding. To bolster the team with the experience and knowledge Jonathan can offer will both support future growth and deliver an even greater service to our existing clients.”
Working alongside Andrew and Susannah in the agencies senior team, Jonathan will join as PR Director to support top-level client strategies, further enhance media relations and bring a greater focus on the retail food sector to Eat PR & Marketing. On joining the business, Jonathan adds: “I’m delighted to have joined Eat PR & Marketing at such an exciting time in the company’s short history. Having recently secured several significant client wins and with further opportunities in the pipeline, the company has cemented its position as a highly respected agency. Working alongside Andrew, Susannah and the team, I’m very much looking forward to getting hands-on with day-to-day content creation and using my experience to develop comprehensive marketing strategies for all our clients.”
