The Black Farmer creates Caribbean inspired sausage for Windrush Day

The Black Farmer is a brand of food products created by Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, a British Jamaican who came to the UK as a child in the 1950s. He grew up in Birmingham, where he developed a love for food and farming.  He later became a TV producer and director, before fulfilling his dream of owning a farm on the Devon/Cornwall border.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Windrush, the arrival of thousands of Caribbean immigrants to Britain in 1948, The Black Farmer has launched a special new sausage: Mango & Chilli with a second sausage, Jerk Pork to be released in time for Black History month. They are inspired by the flavours of the Caribbean and the contribution of the Windrush generation to Britain’s food culture. They are available in Tesco, M&S and Ocado, or online from The Black Farmer’s Farmshop.

The Black Farmer’s motto is “Flavours without Frontiers”, reflecting his passion for diversity and richness in British cuisine. You can follow him on social media to learn more about his products and his story: www.theblackfarmer.com – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Don’t miss this opportunity to taste these delicious sausages and celebrate Windrush Day with The Black Farmer!
