As the seasons shift and the autumnal breeze sweeps over the enchanting landscape, The Headland is inviting guests to indulge in a spellbinding culinary journey like no other. Terrifying treats are on the menu as the iconic five-star hotel introduces the Wickedly Witchy Afternoon Brew, running from October 1st until October 31st.
It is the first time the themed afternoon tea will be hosted in the stunning Restaurant RenMor, which opened at the luxury hotel in May after a major renovation to The Samphire.
Executive head chef, Gavin Edney said: “It is great for us as chefs to have the opportunity to get creative with this theme and guests will be immersed a mystical world. Our iconic location and sublime new restaurant will be transformed and allow diners to watch the waves crashing into the rocks as they enjoy wonderfully wicked treats.”
The menu includes wonderful cakes and treats, including white chocolate mice, pumpkin cheesecake, treacle tart and blackberry and apple trifle, alongside scones with clotted cream and jam, and some delicious autumnal sandwiches. Afternoon tea proves to be popular at The Headland all year round and in the past, there have been occasions when the hotel uses over 500 scones in a day. On selected dates, diners will have to pay extra attention to their manners as a witch prowls Restaurant RenMor, adding to the spooky occasion.
The Wickedly Witchy Afternoon Brew is priced at £45 per adult £22.50 for children. Booking can be made here – www.renmor.co.uk/book
