Dosa Park, the South Indian dining specialists, have finally opened their doors in Cirencester.
The new restaurant, located on Sheep Street, has welcomed guests from across the county, including TV’s Dr. Dawn Porter, for a private tasting and a tour of the venue.
Dosa Park has three sites in Oxfordshire, two of which are in Oxford itself. The new venue has created seven full-time job roles.
Business co-owner, Omer Rahim, said: “We are so excited to introduce the people of Cirencester to our dosas. At a recent tasting, everyone said they had never tried dosas before and were blown away by them. We aim to provide our customers with a South Indian experience and make a difference with our hospitality and can-do attitude.
“We have received a warm welcome from the community. Many people have walked past and knocked on our door, expressing their delight that Dosa Park is coming to Cirencester. Many people have been travelling all the way to Swindon and Oxford to eat dosas, but now they don’t have to travel and can enjoy them here in Cirencester.”
He added: “In the future, we would like to expand the business and have had some interest in opening a restaurant in Worcestershire. We have been laser-focused on getting the business foundation right for the last few years, which should make it easier for us to scale up.”
Dosa Park Cirencester is open six days a week (every day except Tuesday) between 12pm and 10pm, except on Sundays when it closes at 9pm.
