Planted, based in the vibrant Charlton Kings community in Cheltenham is a project initiated by Vision 21, an environmental charity which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. Shop Cotswolds is delighted to have Planted and Poco Culina as a member, where they are also known for their community café and plant-based food, catering and delivery services.
The project is based around a loose food and household products refill shop, a community hub with hireable workshop and meeting spaces. It also plays host to a range of community events such as low-energy cooking workshops, digital skills workshops and a community warm space.
In a collaboration with well-known plant-based caterer Poco Culina, Planted also features a plant-based café with a distinctly Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Asian influence. Head Chef and Owner Andy Tibbs said: “Bringing outstanding plant-based food to a wider, more diverse customer base is the driving force behind our food offer. Meticulously prepared from whole, fresh and natural ingredients our food is expertly cooked and beautifully presented.”
The Poco Culina Café at Planted is open Tuesday-Saturday 9.30am – 4.00pm, but watch out too for special pop-up restaurant nights. The café is also available to book for private meetings and celebrations.
