
Butcombe Pubs & Inns’ The George Inn, Norton St Philip has been named ‘AA Inn of the Year, England’ at its annual Bed and Breakfast Awards. The popular inn near Bath with rooms onsite and in an adjacent property called The Plaine, was crowned ‘AA Inn of the Year, England’ during an online awards ceremony on Tuesday 15th July 2025.

The AA’s Bed and Breakfast Awards recognise the very best places to stay across England, Scotland and Wales. The main three awards categories are AA Inn of the Year, AA Restaurant with Rooms of the Year and AA Bed and Breakfast of the Year.
