Ashburton Food Festival 2025: bigger, bolder, and bursting with new experiences!

The Ashburton Food Festival is back and it’s levelling up the fun in 2025. We’re talking a whirlwind of delicious events, from single-origin chocolate workshops to the kind of cider-and-oyster pairing that’ll make your taste buds do a little dance. This year, we’re all about celebrating the incredible flavours of Devon and the South West.

Event Date: Saturday, 13th September, 10.00am – 5.00pm.
Location: Ashburton Town Centre, Devon.

Festival lead Dee Kilkelly says, “We’re mixing it up this year with everything from art workshops using dyes from waste food to street performers and DJs. Plus, there’s an edible perennial plant sale and a splash of local wine from Sandridge Barton.”

Festival Highlights:

  • Chocolate Tasting Workshop: Dive into the world of single-origin chocolates and discover the craft behind the sweetness with Michael Barber from Ashburton Cookery School.
  • Cider & Oysters: A match made in foodie heaven, local Michelin listed restaurant Le Vin Perdu team up with Dart Oysters to bring a splash of seafood sunshine to the festival.
  • Art Workshops with a Tasty Twist: Get hands-on and create art using dyes from edible materials, a workshop for kids and adults alike.
  • Street Performers & DJs: Enjoy a lively atmosphere with music and performances all day long.
  • Perennial Plant Sale: Take home a piece of Devon’s greenery and get inspired by local grower Incredible Vegetables.
  • Sandridge Barton Wine Bar: Sample the local vineyard’s best offerings and maybe find a new favourite bottle.

Getting Here
Park & Ride: We’ve got a handy shuttle service from South Dartmoor College. Just hop on and get dropped right into the heart of the festival. Tickets are on our website.
