Devon based premium cocktail producer Bar Buoy is celebrating a major milestone after securing a new listing with St Austell Brewery — one of the South West’s most respected and far-reaching hospitality operators.
The partnership means Bar Buoy’s award-winning bottled and canned cocktails will now be available to order across St Austell Brewery’s managed and leased estate, as well as to its extensive network of free trade customers. For the fast-growing Exmouth brand, the listing represents its biggest route-to-market opportunity yet, unlocking the potential for significant expansion throughout the region.
Bar Buoy officially launched with St Austell Brewery at its trade show in November, where the reaction from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. “There was a lot of love for Bar Buoy at the launch,” said Bar Buoy Co-Founder Tim Ball. “For us, this partnership is huge. St Austell Brewery’s reach across the South West provides an incredible platform to share our cocktails with even more venues and customers. It really does allow us to spread our wings—or should we say anchors—further than ever.”
Founded in Exmouth and inspired by the coast, Bar Buoy has built a reputation for delivering bar-quality cocktails using premium spirits and natural ingredients, locally sourced from the South-West where possible. The new listing with St Austell Brewery marks a pivotal next step as the company continues to scale.
“This is our biggest listing yet, and we’re excited for what it means for the future of Bar Buoy,” added Ria Ball. “We’re proud to be strengthening our presence across the South West and partnering with another respected, locally rooted business.”
Bar Buoy’s cocktails will be available to order through St Austell Brewery from this month.
