Devon-based Sandford Orchards has just secured a listing for its award-winning Devon Red Cider in Sainsbury’s stores across the South West. Its much-loved Devon Red will be on the shelves in March making it available to an even wider cider audience.

Devon Red is made from the whole juice of locally grown apples which are pressed and fermented by our highly experienced team of cider makers in Crediton, at the oldest working cider mill in the UK. These are the credentials that have won us a huge fan base amongst consumers and now they have also convinced Sainsbury’s that we would be a worthy addition to their supermarket shelves.”
Devon Red (ABV 4.5%) is a naturally tasty and utterly delicious, crisp and fruity cider. It takes its name from the rich red Devon soil that gives the orchards their distinctive quality. It is a refreshing, balanced apple cider packed with the juice of traditional English cider apple varieties, all grown and pressed in Devon. It is available from Sandford Orchards and other retailers, including Morrisons, Tescos, The Co-op, John Lewis & Partners and, from March, Sainsbury’s stores across the South West.
