Pod Cafe, the much-loved beachside beach café has enjoyed a refurbishment and is looking forward to a busy summer season providing delicious food, community events and Cornish hospitality to visitors and locals alike.
Wonderfully situated next to the beautiful Portreath Beach, known for its scenic bike trails, coastal walks and family adventures, Pod Cafe offers a welcoming atmosphere with alfresco dining ( when the weather is kind!) The café serves breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, with both eat-in and takeaway options available.
Pod Cafe offers extensive gluten-free and vegan options across its entire menu, including its wide range of freshly baked cakes and pastries. The café operates as a licensed bar and bistro, serving all day from morning coffee to evening meals.
As well as its food and drinks offerings, Pod Cafe hosts regular events including live music nights with local artists like Jamie Raynor and Jack Kessel, quiz nights, and creative workshops like the popular Pod Collage Club. Guests can also enjoy activities such as “Paint Your Own Mug with The Clay Corner” and “Bubbly and Brush Mamma Mia Paint & Sip Nights” offering something a little bit different!
Pod Cafe offers a 5% discount on hot drinks for customers who bring their own refillable cups and is also proudly dog-friendly, welcoming furry companions to join their owners next to the beach (which is dog friendly, but from 1 July to 31 August, dogs are not permitted on the sand between 10 am and 6 pm.)
Pod Cafe is open seven days a week with extended hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until 8:00 PM. While walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis, booking is recommended to guarantee a table, especially during peak seasons.
