MOR launches Surf & Turf Sunday

MOR, the ocean-inspired restaurant from chef Tom Sellers at Carbis Bay Estate, has put their own spin on the Sunday lunch with the launch of Surf & Turf Sunday, a menu that brings together exceptional seafood, quality meat and seasonal, locally sourced produce – all served against the spectacular backdrop of Carbis Bay.

Priced at £39 per person, the menu celebrates the meeting of land and sea, with a selection of dishes designed to be enjoyed en famille. Staying true to MOR’s philosophy of showcasing Cornwall’s outstanding ingredients through thoughtful cooking and bold flavour combinations, Surf & Turf Sunday offers a relaxed way to gather around the table and enjoy a leisurely, relaxed Sunday with family and friends.

Seafood takes centre stage alongside carefully prepared meat dishes, with inventive flavours and accompaniments adding a fresh perspective to the traditional Sunday lunch. The menu opens with a selection of starters, including whipped cod’s roe with focaccia, steaming bowls of St Austell mussels in Cornish crab broth and Coombeshead charcuterie with pickles, and salt, pepper and vinegar squid.

For the main course, guests can enjoy stuffed market fish with harissa-smoked grains and tahini yoghurt, chargrilled bavette steak with mojo verde and baked crispy mushroom rice. Sides include nori roast potatoes, braised greens and MOR’s own condiments, while desserts include a treacle & miso tart and plum crumble.

Opened in July 2026, MOR takes its name from the Cornish word for sea and is shaped by the rhythms, flavours and changing seasons of the coast. Overlooking the white sands of the Blue Flag beach at Carbis Bay, the restaurant brings together Tom Sellers’ signature storytelling approach to cooking with exceptional produce from Cornwall and beyond. Sellers, the chef patron of two Michelin-starred Restaurant Story in London, works alongside Group Executive Chef Tom Anglesea to create a dining experience rooted in provenance, creativity and a deep respect for ingredients.

Head on over to the MOR website to book your spot and follow them on Instagram for their latest news.
